Shamanic Healing
To treat emotional, physical, ancestral and past life trauma.
Service Description
A Shamanic Healing Session is a spiritual and therapeutic practice guiding the participant through a transformative process aimed at restoring balance and harmony within their mind, body, and spirit. Preparation and Intention Setting: The session usually begins with a conversation between the healer and the participant to set intentions. The participant might share what they’re seeking healing for—be it physical ailments, emotional struggles, or spiritual questions. The healer may offer guidance on how the session can address these concerns. Shamanic Journeying: One of the key components of a shamanic healing session is a "journey"—a form of guided meditation or trance. I may use drumming, rattling, or chanting to help both myself and the client enter a relaxed, altered state of consciousness. This is where the I connect with spirit guides, ancestors, or nature spirits in the spiritual realm. During the journey, I may ask for guidance or healing energy for my client, seeking insight into the root causes of their physical or emotional issues. I may travel to different spiritual realms (such as the Lower, Middle, or Upper World in shamanic cosmology) to receive visions, symbols, or messages that offer healing. Energy Clearing and Healing: Using techniques like hands-on healing, energy extraction, or spirit communication, I might clear blocked or stagnant energy from the client's body or energy field. This could involve removing "soul fragments," clearing trauma, or realigning the person’s chakras. The shaman may also call upon power animals or spirit guides to help in the healing process. Receiving Guidance and Wisdom: Often, during or after the healing process, the client may receive messages, teachings, or insights that offer clarity or direction in their life. These may come from visions, intuition, or direct communication from the spiritual realm. Closing and Grounding: Once the healing work is complete, I will typically close the session by bringing the client back to a grounded state. This might involve prayers, more drumming, or ritualistic steps to ensure that the energy of the session is sealed.

Preparing for a Shamanic Healing can be a deeply transformative and personal experience. Here are some steps to help you get ready: 1. Set Your Intentions Think about what you want to heal or learn. It could be a physical ailment, emotional wound, spiritual block, or a deeper life question. Having clarity on your intention can guide the process. Ask yourself: What do I hope to gain from this healing? Write it down if it helps. 2. Be Open and Receptive Shamanic healing often involves spiritual journeys, visions, or energy work that can be intense or unfamiliar. Go in with an open mind and heart. Trust the process, even if it feels mysterious or outside your usual experience. 3. Ground Yourself Before the session, it’s useful to do grounding practices. You could meditate, breathe deeply, or even spend some time in nature to feel centered. Grounding helps you stay connected to the earth and the present moment, which is vital for receiving the healing. 4. Stay Hydrated and Rested Healing work can sometimes leave you feeling tired or drained. Make sure to drink water before and after the session, and get enough rest leading up to it. 5. Clear Your Mind Shamanic healing can sometimes bring up emotions or thoughts from the subconscious. Try to enter the session with a calm and clear mind. This doesn’t mean you need to be “perfectly still” or “silent,” but the calmer you are, the more open you’ll be to the healing process. 6. Release Expectations It’s important to have an open mind about what healing might look like. Shamanic healing is not always a quick fix and may unfold in unexpected ways. Be open to receiving guidance and healing in forms you might not anticipate. 7. Follow the Healer’s Guidance The Shamanic healer may lead you through rituals, drumming, chanting, or meditative journeys. This could involve visualizing certain imagery, moving energy through your body, or allowing emotions to arise and be processed. After the session, it’s important to take time to integrate what you’ve experienced. You might want to journal, meditate, or just sit with the feelings that arise. Healing can continue even after the session is over, so be gentle with yourself.
